Welcome back! I hope you all are doing well. Every one of us might have used aloe vera gel at least some time in our lives. Aloe vera gel works wonders for the skin as well as hair. Today we will discuss Stamio Aloe vera gel.
What the brand says:
Stamio is a made in India brand which has products that can be used by both men and women. It is cruelty-free, has no added artificial colours and is also fragrance-free. Stamio has face gels and other hair care products. Stamio claims to provide Pure and natural hair care and skincare products that are specially designed organically to provide hair and skincare solutions. And also free from grab and harmful chemicals.
Aloe vera Benefits for hair:
- Promotes hair growth
- Tends to reduce scalp dryness and itchiness.
Apart from the claims of Stamio Aloe vera gel, it has several other benefits. Including:
- Strengthens hair strands. Also repairs the damaged hair.
- Protect from UV damage
- Due to high contents of protein vitamins and minerals in Aloe gel, it nourishes hair follicles. Thus reducing hair fall.
Aloe Vera benefits for skin:
- It makes the skin soft and supple
- Hydrated the skin
- Likely to give glowing skin.
- Helps to moisturize and nourish the skin.
- If you get inflammatory acne, aloe vera gel helps to calm and soothe.
- Does not irritate sensitive skin.
Stamio Aloe Vera Gel price:
The MRP is Rs. 347/- for 200ml of product. However, this product is always a discount on Amazon and other sites. you can grab the same from amazon for Rs.260 to Rs. 280/- it is freshly manufactured in April 2021 and it can be used for 24 months. But I would advise finishing off the jar after opening.
Packaging of Stamio Aloe Vera Gel:
It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a black colour twist cap. No external carton packaging. All the instructions, benefits, ingredients, price etc are mentioned on the bottle itself. I wish the cap of the jar was of better quality. It broke during transit. Even though it comes in a clear film, there was a tad bit of leakage of the Aloe gel.
Stamio Aloe Vera Gel Ingredients:
It has 1500mg i.e. 150g of aloe vera in 200ml of the jar contents. We have already discussed the benefits of Aloe vera.
DMDM 0.5% is an antimicrobial preservative.
Glycerin 1% imparts moisture to the skin. I was not able to find Aqualine 60 I was not able to find any details.
Carbopol 940 0.2% capable of providing high viscosity and forms sparkling clear gels and creams. I am also quite not sure of T.e.a 1%. Again EDTA 0.2% is used as a preservative, to give the product a shelf life of 24 months.
How to use aloe vera gel as a moisturizer/ how to use aloe vera gel on face:
The directions are pretty straightforward. Take a small amount and apply to the face and neck and massage it on the skin.
How to use aloe vera gel for hair:
This gel is supposed to be applied after taking a shower. I assume we are not supposed to be rinsing off the gel. Massage over the scalp for soft and frizz-free hair.
What is my opinion on STAMIO Pure Aloe Vera Gel for All Skin & Hair Types?
Firstly I loved the Aloe vera gel because it is clear and transparent. Unlike other companies that manufacturers green Aloe vera gel. If you take Aloe vera plant leaf and open it, inside it is white and not green. We can conclude no added colours.
The fragrance is the same as the fresh aloe vera plant after opening. It is a multi-purpose gel. I apply a generous amount of gel on my face before I shave my face. It makes my facial hair shaving easy and without scratches or skin irritation. After facial shaving, I apply the same to give a nice cooling and calming effect.
I also use it as a moisturiser. Take a small amount and apply it over the face and neck.
My husband uses the same as hair gel. It gives a decent hold to his hair. Also, gloss and shine are just like hair gels. But the hair gels cause hair loss. This doesn’t.
Pros:
- Multi purpose product. It can be used for skin as well as hair.
- This gel can be used by both men and women.
- Use it as a moisturiser.
- It gives calming effect to irritated skin.
- No added fragrance.
Cons:
- My only concern is the packaging. The lid should be of better quality.
- Not much convinced wuth Carbopol ingredient whichh is known to provide high viscosity and forms sparkling clear gels.
Summary:
I feel it is quite a good gel that has multiple uses. I feel you should grab a jar and try the same.

You must read other Skincare products:
It sounds good. I am quite lucky with my hair apart from the greys haha! I gave up dying it about 3 or 4 months ago. I am welcoming the greys instead of hiding them! 😉
