Hello my beauties
I hope you all are doing well. Stay healthy and stay safe during this time. Cleansing our face is important for healthy facial skin. We travel and there is a lot of pollution around which indirectly or directly harms our skin. So it is essential to remove the grime out. So today I have with me Spawake White solution double scrub face wash.
As the brand name says Spawake lets see whether it actually gives the spa awake finish or glow to the skin. Let us get into details.
Price of Spawake White Solution Double Scrub Face Wash:
Rs. 95/- for 50grams and Rs. 169/- for 100 grams of the product.
Packaging of Spawake face wash:
It comes in a tube packaging. The tube is white in color with a flip cap. The cap is secure and it makes the click sound when you close it. It is of good quality and makes it leak-proof and hence travel-friendly.
Ingredients of Spawake facewash:
It contains promising ingredients as well as not so good set of ingredients. It has parabens. It also has a derivate of sulfate called Disodium ascorbyl sulfate. I so wished they skipped paraben, sulfates and added fragrance. At times in the name of the fragrance, we do not know what the companies are adding. And secondly, it is not mentioned what kind of fragrance is been added.
It also has got a Niacinamide which is a form of vitamin B3. Niacinamide has got innumerable benefits for the skin. It includes minimizing the size of pores, improves uneven skin tone, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, removes dullness from your skin thus imparting glow to the skin.
I have already mentioned the benefits of dead sea minerals in my Spawake Pimple Solution Refreshing Face Wash Review.
The face wash also contains Coconut shell powder. I knew heard about any brands before using coconut shell powder nor did I know the benefits of the same. So I researched and learned that it is a good exfoliating agent and does not cause micro-cuts to the skin.
It also has got apricot seed powder which helps in maintaining skin health. It is high in fatty acids and vitamins hence it is used as an emollient. It does not dry out your skin.

Claims:
The presence of apricot seed and coconut shell polish away pore-clogging impurities and dead skin cells that lead to a dull, uneven complexion.
Direction for use:
As usual, take a small amount and apply it to your face ad neck. It is a non-foaming face wash.

Texture and Consistency of face wash:
It is transparent gel-like consistency and has got very fine brown colored particles. It smells really fresh and mild soothing fragrance which does not last for a very long time.

What is my opinion about Spawake White Solution Double Scrub Face Wash?
I had high expectations for this product. I ordered a pimple solution face wash and this one together. But it did not meet my expectations. I need my face wash to lather a bit. But this one does not lather at all. In the directions for use, it is mentioned use a small amount. But I feel a small amount is not sufficient to cover the entire face as it is of gel-like texture and does not foam or lather.
Pros:
- Though it is a scrub face wash, it is suitable for daily use.
- Some promising sets of ingredients like apricot seed, coconut shell, dead sea minerals, etc.
- Smells really nice.
- It is suitable for all skin types.
- 4 different variants are available pimple solution, double scrub, age solution, and moisture solution.
Cons:
- The Spawake white solution face wash does not make my skin squeaky clean.
- This face wash does not lather.
- It contains paraben and sulfates.
- Expensive for the quantity as it does not provide desired results.
- More quantity is required other than normal foaming face washes.
- Availability is an issue.
- Not true to its claims of providing luminous glow.
Summary:
Even though it is a decent exfoliator I will skip this next time. Because it does not lather and does not do the primary job of making the skin clean and refreshed. If you are someone like me who wants the face wash to lather then you may skip this one.
