What is my opinion about Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio – Walking On Eggshells?
When you go out for a party or any other occasion, you feel nice when you are dolled up, and the makeup looks incomplete without eye shadow. If you are a beginner and want to try out an eye-shadow palette on a budget then this is a great product.
You can go for walking on the eggshell palette if want to achieve a light subtle look.
If you want to achieve a Gothic look, or maybe smoky eyes then you can go for the Don’t Steal My Thunder palette.
When I first saw this palette I thought it is quite cheap, 3 colours for 299/- and a small and handy palette. So keeping this in mind I ordered the palette.
The description on Walking on Eggshell:
Brow bone: this shade is kind of off-white shade and is extremely pigmented which can be used otherwise with other eye shadows to highlight the brow bone area.
Crease: this brown shade is again extremely pigmented but the only thing it has fallouts.
Eyelids: it is beautiful light purple-pink shade, but requires a lot of product for the colour pay off on the eyes. It is not that much pigmented in comparison to other shades. But it is a very girlie light pink in colour. As you can see in the second image, it’s a soft pink colour.
How it looks on my eyes:
Pros:
- Creamy texture which provides an easy blending of shades.
- Embossed with brow bone, crease and eyelid to provide an easy application guide
- Highly pigmented shades except for eyelids.
- Pocket-friendly, 3 shades for Rs. 299.
- Cute and compact packaging, hence travel-friendly.
- If you are just a beginner like me, and not good at blending different eye shadows then you can use the eyelid colour and the crease colour alone, matching your outfits.
- Wide variety of shades available.
Cons:
- Crease shade has fallouts which can be managed.
- The eyelid shade is a little less pigmented in comparison to the other 2 shades.
Summary:
It is a great and affordable palette with good pigmentation for beginners like me. Choices of shades are also available to create different looks.
P.S: I am a beginner, so the eye swatch may not look professional.
If you are someone who does not want to try eye shadows, then you can definitely try coloured eyeliners.
