Today I will be reviewing Colorbar Diamond Shine lipstick. It comes with 5 variants and I have one. Thought first I would try and then buy more shades if it turned out good. I wanted to try a shimmer lipstick so I went ahead and got the 003 Precious Coral shade. Continue reading to know more details about diamond shine lipstick.

Packaging of Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipstick:
It comes in a silver colored box and the shade code and color mentioned at the bottom of the box. This box reminds me of Bella Voste’s lipstick packaging. The packaging is exactly the same, but whatever is inside the box the packaging is different. Anyways moving forward, the lipstick packaging is silver colored with the shade color mentioned at the bottom, also manufacturing and best before also mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. Quite a decent and sophisticated packaging.
Ingredients of Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipstick:
As usual, most of the cosmetics come with a complicated list of ingredients, this one too is having a similar kind of ingredient list. This lipstick is said to contain Vitamin E and also citric acid.

Rs. 499 for 4.2 grams of product
Color :
Following is the hand swatch of the product. On the other hand, the product looks totally different as that can be seen in lip swatch. On the hand swatch, it appears little coral with loaded with glitters, on the lips, it appears golden color.

As you can see the swatch on the lips is totally different compared to the hand swatch.
What is my opinion about Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipstick – 003 Precious Coral?
I got the lipstick on a 50% off. This lipstick I got from the most popular cosmetic site in India, Nykaa. I believe they finished the stock of the lipstick keeping it on 50% discount and they are no longer available on that site. You can get it from their official web site HERE. When you open the packaging, it is a nice smooth metallic bullet lipstick. The shade of the lipstick bullet is slightly different, which you can see in the first image itself. I did not like the shade much, as I am not able to pull off very light colours. However, my mom liked the lipstick and she is using it. Rs. 499 is a little too much to pay for this lipstick, however its fine for me as I got for 50% off.
Pros:
- Glides on smoothly. The formulation of the lipstick is good.
- Insanely pigmented.
- Pretty good staying power for 3 aftr which the shine reduces but lips are still pigmented up to 5 hours.
- Loaded with shimmer, but the good part is the shimmers are very fine and it is not at all heavy on the lips.
- Good everyday color. You can wear it to college or office as it is a somewhat brownish-golden shade.
- Sophisticated packaging.
Cons:
- Colour swatch on the hand is different than on the lips.
- Personally, I did not like the color how it looks on my lips.
- It does not survive meals.
- As the lipstick starts fading only glitters remain on the lips, which I personally dislike.
- Limited shade options.
Summary:
I might try the red shade from this range becuase it looks quite flattering. Overall I was not that much disappointed as I had taken the product on a discount. Some people may like the shade but somehow I feel the color does not suit me and find very difficult to pull off this shade. I feel there are better options for lipsticks available with this price range. Do comment in the comment section and let me know what you feel about the lipstick.
