2Captcha Review 2020: Legit or Scam?

Today I am going to be reviewing the hyped 2Captcha website. This website claims to pay you for solving the captcha puzzles. Is it a legit site? Did it pay the users? What are the drawbacks? Is it worth your time and effort? Let’s find out.

What is 2Captcha?

It is a website that pays to solve the captchas. So this site pays differently, as there are two modes. The first is image captcha and the second is ReCaptcha. You can either order captchas (customer) or you can work for it. You can also use work through a 2captcha bot or mobile interface to increase your earnings.

The 2Captcha sites look like this. It has a pretty and clear interface.

Under work for 2capcha option click on the quick start. The registration is simple you only need your email id and you have to set the password.

Once the registration is complete you get a screen like below. Then you need you to click on I’m a worker –> Next.

Once you have registered successfully, the dashboard appears.

Earnings in 2Captcha:

It shows the current rate

$0.3/1000 image captchas and $1.01/1000 recaptchas. These values are often change depending on the numbers of workers currently working, customers demand i.e. captcha orders given by customers, and also the complexity of captchas.

So before you start making any money you need to take a test. In the test, you need to solve 45 captchas. While answering if you make a mistake they give hints and also they give training of the different kinds of captchas that will be flashing on your screen.

After you finish answering 30 captchas, they give you 15 more captchas without hints. You need to clear them. It’s not a difficult task at all.

After answering the test I finally hit on start work and started solving them.

In the below screenshot you can see my earnings.

I managed to solve 30 captchas which took me approximately 15 to 20 minutes. This was not my typing fault. The loading time of each captcha is hell crazy. It takes a very long time ranging from a minimum of 15 to 30seconds per captcha. And it has got nothing to do with the internet speed.

Have a look at the statistics of captcha loading. Normal captcha takes up to 49 seconds to load. Around 70956 workers are banned due to suspicious activity.

By Solving 30 captchas = $0.00895 (15 minutes approx. I have considered the lower side)
300 = $0.0895 (150 minutes)
900 =450 minutes

So for solving 1000 captchas the taking is approximately 500 minutes (plus or minus).

And 500 minutes = 8.3 hours.

After spending 8 plus hours you get $0.3. So in order to reach the minimum threshold of $0.5, you need to spend at least 4 more hours.

For 12 hours or more you get paid $0.5. Which is very much negligible for the time and effort and most importantly patience.

2captcha Payout methods:

They offer the following options

• WebMoney
• Perfect Money
• Bitcoin
• Advcash
• uphold.com
• Payeer
• AirTM

The most used platform Paypal is not included. Nor direct bank account transfer is not available.

There is also a note mentioned Paypal, western union and bank transfer are not available and will NEVER be available. There is also a form where you can suggest other payment methods.

Reputation: is basically a rating given to you after solving a certain number of captcha. You get 1 reputation for solving 1000 captchas. You cannot withdraw the reputations nor does it affect your performance.

2captcha software download for PC:

Instead of using www.2captcha.com for your PC, you can also use their software called CaptchaBotRS. There is also an alternate version called RuCaptcha Bot X. They have also launched an application that you can use on your android phone.

Other Points to keep in mind:

If you make mistakes, the account is banned. It is not dependent on the number of mistakes. But rather on the complexity of captcha, the frequency of mistakes, and other Algorithms implemented by the app.

Pros:

• It is a legit site that pays you money and, not gift cards.
• The minimum withdrawal amount is $0.5
• There are no additional fees for withdrawal.

Cons:

• It is very much time-consuming. Minimum of 12 hours of work for a payment of $0.5
• As mentioned earlier very low payouts.
• The payment modes are inconvenient. I do not have any of the above wallets.
• When you try to download and save the software on your system it gives a warning signal. So I feel the risk involved in saving their software. If you are using your personal laptop you never know the passwords or images anything may get leaked. Never heard of anything though. But better to be safe than sorry.
• The captcha loading time is like forever. It requires a lot of patience. As seen in the above image the load time could be up to 49seconds.
• Captchas are introduced by companies for security and various other reasons. And these sites helps the users to bypass them. Google might consider it unethical and it might ban your IP address.
• The referral program earns you peanuts.

Final Verdict:

Where do you go from here? This site pays you very little and if you from America or Europe it is very less compared to their standard of living.

But if you are from other countries and if you have a lot of extra time and have internet access then you can give it a shot. Make sure you have the above-mentioned wallets so that you can claim your hard-earned money. I wouldn’t give it a try for 2 reasons. The payment methods, this is my primary concern. Secondly, I do not have so much patience to wait until each captcha gets loaded. If there was a Paypal option I would have still given it a try. Instead of playing games and social media, I would have played captcha-captcha on 2captcha. If you are someone having the above wallets, then you can give it a try.
